College Rifles Rugby Football Club

Welcome to the 2024 Junior Rugby season at College Rifles Rugby & Sports Club. We have an exciting year ahead and cannot wait to introduce some new and exciting incentives that will focus on maximising the engagement levels of everyone involved, which includes players, coaches, managers, and game officials. We cannot wait to see some new eager faces, ready to represent a club that prioritizes enjoyment, effort, and safety over results. If you are returning, thank you for your great support over the years! We hope that we can deliver a program in 2023 that you feel is safe and educational and that the children find fun and engaging.

Our Junior teams range from Nursery (Under 5's) all the way up to Under 17's.

Here is all the information you need to know for our up and coming Junior Season.

UNIFORM:

All playing shirts are provided for the junior players however, each player will need to purchase their own College Rifles playing shorts,socks and mouthguard. Mouthguards are compulsory for all grades. You can purchase this from our shop at the clubrooms or online.

U17 GIRLS:

Training dates will be confirmed soon.

TRAINIGS:

Training nights for all grades will be announced when the teams are assembled and coaches are appointed.

SEASON DATES:

First round: Friday 3rd / Saturday 4th May

Last round: Friday 30th / Saturday 31st August

GAME TIMES:

Rippa Rugby for U5 to U8 is played on a Friday night .

U5 (Nursery) - 4.20pm

U6 - 4:45pm

U7 - 5:20pm

U8 - 6pm

Restricted and open tackle grades are played on a Saturday Morning with 9:15am being the first round.

Draws and games are on the Aucklamd rugby Union website.

WEIGH DAY & MUSTER INFORMATION

ALL juniors playing in a RESTRICTED age grade are required to attend an official weigh day here at the club.

U11 - U13: Wednesday 27th March - 4:30pm start

U8 - U10: Wednesday 3rd April - 4:30pm start

U5 - U7: Wednesday 10th April - 4:30pm start
